CENTIER BANK WELCOMES SYLVIA MAGALLANEZ AS MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER

GARY, IND. — Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned bank, is pleased to welcome Sylvia Magallanez as a 

Mortgage Loan Officer. She will work with clients throughout Lake and Porter Counties from the bank’s Gary Miller branch at 650 Lake Street in Gary.

Magallanez has over 25 years of experience in lending and mortgage origination with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, generating sales leads, originating, underwriting, and closing mortgage and consumer loans.

“I’m excited to help customers achieve their homeownership dreams by providing them with personalized and tailored solutions for their mortgage and consumer lending needs,” Magallanez said. “Having recently joined the Centier team, I truly appreciate the people and culture that makes this organization unique.”

NMLS-certified and licensed in multiple states, Magallanez has a strong finance background and a passion and dedication for originating mortgage loans. She is fluent in Spanish.

Magallanez is an active volunteer with local organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, and the Homebuilders Association of Northwest Indiana (HBA-NWI), where she has served on the Program and Events committee. She resides in Crown Point with her husband, Mark, and two sons, Mark and Gabriel.
