CENTIER BANK RANKS NO. 1 ON FORBES’ 2024 LIST OF BEST-IN-STATE-BANKS

Last Updated on Jun 24, 2024

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned bank, has been recognized by Forbes® as Indiana’s top-rated bank for 2024. Of the five Indiana banks to make the list, Centier ranked No. 1 overall this year and has now made Forbes’ dedicated Indiana list for seven consecutive years.

Forbes conducts its annual Best-in-State-Banks survey through the market research firm, Statista. Over 26,000 customers are independently surveyed nationwide to rate their banking relationships for overall satisfaction, but also criteria such as customer service, the quality of the financial advice representatives offer, whether fees are transparent and reasonable, ease of navigating the company website, on-location branch services and the overall level of trust the companies inspired.

Online text reviews and ratings written between February 2021 and March 2024 were also collected and analyzed. This research accounted for 20% of the scoring while the surveys accounted for 80%.

“We remain humbled and inspired by this continued recognition, and it’s an honor to occupy the top spot on this year’s list representing the best banks serving Indiana residents,” said Michael Schrage, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Centier Bank. “This continued achievement is a testament to our dedicated team’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service and fostering strong relationships with our clients. We will continue to prioritize our community’s financial well-being and strive for excellence in all that we do.”

Before this latest accolade, American Banker recognized Centier Bank as the No.1 “Best Bank to Work For” in Indiana, and tenth overall in the US, for 2023. The Indiana Chamber also recently recognized Centier Bank at its annual Best Places to Work Awards for the 18th consecutive year.
