Last Updated on Nov 22, 2024

Carmel, IND. – Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned bank, proudly celebrated the opening of its relocated and expanded Carmel branch (650 East Carmel Drive) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception on Thursday, November 21, 2024. The larger, modernized branch represents an important milestone in the bank’s ongoing expansion throughout Greater Indianapolis. Centier now operates eight banking centers in Central Indiana, with additional locations planned, including its first in Brownsburg opening in December.

Centier Bank’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, Mike Schrage, along with President Chris Campbell, Indianapolis Market President Troy Kafka, Regional Sales Manager Ben Studebaker, and Branch Manager Jessie Wylie, welcomed Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam, members of Carmel’s business community, local chambers, renovation project partners and nonprofit organizations to the celebration.

"We have proudly served the residents and businesses of Carmel since entering the market in 2011, and we are delighted for the opportunity to continue supporting their financial future in this new space,” said Michael E. Schrage, Centier Bank’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. “We remain committed to our community banking approach and expansion throughout Greater Indianapolis.”

The expansion to this new location marks an exciting chapter of growth for Centier Bank in the Carmel community. The transformation encompassed stunning exterior building enhancements and a comprehensive interior renovation of the 8,894-square-foot first floor, presenting modern materials to unify the aesthetic and articulate architectural details. The redesigned main entrance serves as the centerpiece of the bank, elevating the overall appearance and modernizing the building. The building has maintained a solid presence in the banking industry for 45 years.

“This branch provides us additional space to offer the financial and customer experience synonymous with Centier. We’re also excited to be able to house more of our regional executives and new associates here, allowing them to be more present in the community,” stated Troy Kafka, Centier Bank’s Greater Indianapolis Market President.

During the ceremony, the bank generously donated $5,000 to  Carmel Education Foundation, an organization that works with Carmel school leaders to align programming and grants with district goals and learning objectives. Leaders from the organization were in attendance to accept the donation and celebrate alongside Centier Bank.
